In 1986 two brothers who live near the Sea of Galilee made an incredible discovery. As these two fishermen examine their equipment on the beaches of Gennesaret, they noticed something they’d not seen before. Something covered with mud glistened in the sun. Upon examination, archaeologists determined that what the brothers had discovered was a fishing boat dating from the time of Jesus. The only reason the artefact was discovered was because of a three-year drought, resulting in unusually low water in the lake. The Bible tells us that in times of spiritual dryness, God may uncover something of value within His presence. There have been some things discovered in our personal droughts but I declare with my mouth the drought is over.
Rain signified the end of the drought it also suggest the beginning of plenty. Psalm 68:9-10 (NLT) You sent abundant rain, O God, to refresh the weary land. 10 There your people finally settled, and with a bountiful harvest, O God, you provided for your needy people.
That’s why we sing songs like I feel the rain I feel the rain falling down on me, Rain down all around this world rain down and Send down the rain lord send down the rain lord
God’s presents is reviled at the end of your drought. God reviles his power over sin, sickness, and fleshly desire. God reviles his Plan for us and his promise to us.
See your personal drought over. Speak it with your mouth, active your faith in this matter and watch the rain fall.

In 1904, the Welsh Revival took place, during which approximately 100,000 people in Wales joined the movement
April 14, 1906 the Azusa Street Revival took place in Los Angeles, California, and was led by William J. Seymour, an African American preacher. The attendees of the meetings were often described as “Holy Rollers”, “Holy Jumpers”, “Tangled Tonguers” and “Holy Ghosters.” Reports were published throughout the U.S. and the world of the strange happenings in Los Angeles
In 1982, revival broke out in Argentina under the ministry of Carlos Annacondia, businessman turned evangelist. Carlos reported that about 200,000 people accepted Christ. During these crusades, people who are involved in the occult, particularly spiritualism would scream out and even collapse on the ground until deliverance teams showed up and cast out the demons. Churches were overwhelmed by the sudden onslaught of new believers.
On January 20, 1994, the Father’s blessing fell on the 120 people attending the Toronto blessing. Evangelist Randy Clark gave his testimony and ministry time began. People fell all over the floor under the power of the Holy Spirit, laughing and crying. Chairs were stack up to make room for everyone. Some people even had to be carried out.

It was on Father’s Day June 18, 1995 at Brownsville Assembly of God in Pensacola, Florida that the Brownsville Revival also known as the Pensacola Outpouring began. The Characteristics of the Brownsville Revival movement included acts of repentance and a call to holiness. More than four million people are reported to have attended the meetings from its beginnings in 1995 to around 2000. Visitors sometimes wait for hours to get into the services the alter service was filled with people receiving the power of God. Some would shake violently others would lie on the floor under the power of the Holy Spirit.
It’s time for a revival that shakes our world in this generation. What are the components for revival? First is a Unique Promise. Acts 1:4-5 (NLT) Once when he was eating with them, he commanded them, “Do not leave Jerusalem until the Father sends you the gift he promised, as I told you before.
5 John baptized with water, but in just a few days you will be baptized with the Holy Spirit.” Jesus reviled that the father had a gift for them. Jesus promised that if they would wait for it they would receive it.
Second component is an unwavering Obedience to the word of God. Acts 1:12-14 (NLT) Then the apostles returned to Jerusalem from the Mount of Olives, a distance of half a mile. 13 When they arrived, they went to the upstairs room of the house where they were staying. Here are the names of those who were present: Peter, John, James, Andrew, Philip, Thomas, Bartholomew, Matthew, James (son of Alphaeus), Simon (the Zealot), and Judas (son of James). Notice their obedience to the words of Jesus. Jesus commanded them not leave Jerusalem until the Father sent the gift he had promised. In verse 12 the apostles returned to Jerusalem. We do not always understand the leading of God. The question is will we obey him anyway?
The third factor is an unrelenting Prayer life. Acts 1:14 (NLT) They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus. Prayer is the key to unlock the presents of God in your life. Prayer is also the reboot button that put things back in its God give order. Whatever is out of place in your life praying to God is the answer. God will intervene on your behalf.
The forth element is an uncommon unity. Acts 2:1 (NKJV) When the Day of Pentecost had fully come, they were all with one accord in one place. Unity Is a joint effort. Unity can be achieved if we are considerate of others opinions, if we don’t insist on doing thing our way, if we depend on God’s ability to work through other just like he works through us and we become receptive to other ways of doing things.
Finally the last component is an uncanny resolve to receive. Acts 2:2-13 (NKJV) And suddenly there came a sound from heaven, as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled the whole house where they were sitting. 3 Then there appeared to them divided tongues, as of fire, and one sat upon each of them. 4 And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. 5 And there were dwelling in Jerusalem Jews, devout men, from every nation under heaven. 6 And when this sound occurred, the multitude came together, and were confused, because everyone heard them speak in his own language. 7 Then they were all amazed and marveled, saying to one another, “Look, are not all these who speak Galileans? 8 And how is it that we hear, each in our own language in which we were born? 9 Parthians and Medes and Elamites, those dwelling in Mesopotamia, Judea and Cappadocia, Pontus and Asia,
10 Phrygia and Pamphylia, Egypt and the parts of Libya adjoining Cyrene, visitors from Rome, both Jews and proselytes, 11 Cretans and Arabs–we hear them speaking in our own tongues the wonderful works of God.”
12 So they were all amazed and perplexed, saying to one another, “Whatever could this mean?” 13 Others mocking said, “They are full of new wine.” What will happen if we apply these components to our life: There will be an awakening and an awareness of God’s purpose, there will be repentance, there will be healings and there will be an importance place on God’s work.

Tenacity is defined as sticking firmly to any decision, plan, or opinion without changing or doubting it.
An old man owned a small store in a run-down area. He was the last open store in a failed commercial development and he just refused to quit. A young commercial developer bought all the property surrounding the small store and made the old man a generous offer for his property too. The stubborn man wasn’t interested. He wouldn’t sell no matter how much money was offered.

The real estate developer was forced to move forward with his plans without the old man’s property. The coming of the new shopping center would surely sound the death toll for the old man’s business.

But when the day came for the big opening, the old man still had a trick or two up his sleeve. Beautiful banners hung from all sides of the new construction proclaiming, “Grand Opening!” and “Best Prices in Town”. Not to be outdone, the old man strung a banner of his own right across the little store that stood at the very center of the new shopping center. His banner read “Main Entrance”.

That’s bulldog tenacity. The never-give-up-mentality that believes that for every challenge there is a solution—we would all do well to have a little bit of that same spirit inside us. Far too often we find it is easier to give up when the going gets rough.
As children of God we must decide we will not give up. 2 Samuel 23:8 These be the names of the mighty men whom David had: The Tachmonite that sat in the seat, chief among the captains; the same was Adino the Eznite: he lift up his spear against eight hundred, whom he slew at one time. Adino possessed a bulldog tenacity he would not give up. There are some things we must not give up on. We must not give up on our calling or our purpose. The psalmist said in Psalm 40:5 (NLT) O Lord my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. I believe the road map to your success is found in Christ Jesus. Your purpose in life always will include the creator of your life. Some would disagree with me that God has a purpose for every life. But I don’t know of one thing or plan that God hasn’t completely thought out. We must not give up on our dreams or visions. Your dream will be misunderstood, misquoted, misrepresented and mistreated but don’t give up keep your dream alive.
As children of God we must decide we will not Give out. 2 Samuel 23:9 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo the Ahohite, one of the three mighty men with David, when they defied the Philistines that were there gathered together to battle, and the men of Israel were gone away: 10 He arose, and smote the Philistines until his hand was weary, and his hand clave unto the sword: and the LORD wrought a great victory that day; and the people returned after him only to spoil. Eleazar did not quit even thou he was exhausted. We all go through battles. The battle may be long and it may be hard but stand your ground anyway. We all go through crises remember these two things as you go through a crises. First a crises situation is an opportunity for God to show himself. Secondly a crises situation is an opportunity for us to put faith in Jesus.
As children of God we must decide we will not give in. 2 Samuel 23:11-12 (KJV) And after him was Shammah the son of Agee the Hararite. And the Philistines were gathered together into a troop, where was a piece of ground full of lentiles: and the people fled from the Philistines. 12 But he stood in the midst of the ground, and defended it, and slew the Philistines: and the LORD wrought a great victory. Shammah did not give in to those that were around him he stood his ground. We must not give in to life pressures. Sometimes we give in because we are fatigued, exhausted, mentally stressed or spiritually drained. How can we overcome? Adopted a bulldog tenacity get up and fight, go out and win and remain in Christ Jesus.

Who am I? This question reviles the outcome of our destiny Joshua 24:14-15 (NLT) “So fear the Lord and serve him wholeheartedly. Put away forever the idols your ancestors worshiped when they lived beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt. Serve the Lord alone.
15 But if you refuse to serve the Lord, then choose today whom you will serve. Would you prefer the gods your ancestors served beyond the Euphrates? Or will it be the gods of the Amorites in whose land you now live? But as for me and my family, we will serve the Lord.” One definition for Destined is intended. God intended for you to have a relationship with him. Another definition for destined is to head toward something or somebody. The question of the day is if you are headed toward or away for God. You chose your own rout in life.

Who am I? This question also reviles our purpose.
Psalm 139:16-17 (NLT) you saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed.
17 How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered!
Our purpose helps us make sense of our past successes and failures, our present path and our future function. Take a moment to explore Gods’ thoughts about yourself. Line your life up with his word and watch God’s purpose unfold.

Who or what defines who we are? In philosophy, identity is whatever makes an individual definable and recognizable. What qualities or characteristics distinguish us from others?
Who am I? This question is probable been ask by every person that has or will ever live on this earth. This small question reviles our personal identity. Our identity is deeply rooted in our origin of birth. Where we are from plays a big part in who we are. In Our Upbringing our parents mold our moral compass. Our identity is rooted in our relations with others. Our peers influence our decisions. In Moments of crises our hurt and pains affect your trust issues. Moments of joy help define identity. The pleasant times determine what we like to do. But the real determining factor concerning our personal identity is accepting or rejecting Jesus as our savior. This one event molds our personality, behavioral style and motivates us.

To be uncovered means to be unprotected. A veteran warrior named Goliath lost the victory even though he was stronger and had more experience in battle because there was one the spot uncovered. The unprotected spot In the middle of the battle was his head. It is said that an idle mind is the devils’ workshop. If the enemy can control your thinking, you are as good as defeated. Remember, that were the head goes the body goes. Our thought life must be put in check. Maybe this is a question you must ask yourself. Am I in control of my thought life or is my thought life in control of me?
Jeremiah 4:14 (KJV) O Jerusalem, wash thine heart from wickedness, that thou mayest be saved. How long shall thy vain thoughts lodge within thee?
This verse speaks of an unproductive thought life that affects the way we live. Negative Thoughts causes us to over look our blessings, enables us to force on our problems, minimizes the power God in any given situation we are going through, can be the source in which we become unproductive and even cause us to miss out on God’s best for our lives. Negative thoughts bring fourth negative actions.
What can we do about our negative thoughts? First, we apprehend them. 2 Corinthians 10:5 (KJV) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. We must excuse or get rid of ineffective thoughts. Don’t let your thoughts excel higher than God. Isaiah 55:8 (KJV) For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the LORD. When do we put our thoughts above God’s thoughts? When we over rid his will with our own will, when we Leave him out of our decision making process and when we Fail to communicate with him. Second we need to replace negative thoughts with positive thoughts. Colossians 3:2 (NKJV) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. How can we secure positive thinking by Focus on the big picture, recall God’s past goodness and by relying on the power of the Holy Spirit. We have the awesome power of the Spirit to reset our thinking and change our attitude. Let no spot go uncovered.

If you were to look at Rembrandt’s painting of The Three Crosses, your attention would be drawn to the center cross on which Jesus died. Secondly, you would look at the crowd gathered around the foot of that cross; you’d be impressed by the various facial expressions and actions of the people involved in the awful crime of crucifying the Son of God. Finally, your eyes would drift to the edge of the painting and catch sight of another figure, almost hidden in the shadows. Art critics say this is a representation of Rembrandt himself, for he recognized that by his sins he helped nail Jesus to the cross. My mind gravitates to the thought that the person in the shadows could be anyone of us because we all have sinned. The cross was a tool used to give us a second chance.
1 Corinthians 1:18 (NKJV) For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.
The power of God concerning salvation comes through the sacrifice of Jesus on the Cross. God’s power will transform anyone who will accept Jesus as their savior. The message of the cross is that the Lord is willing to save anyone who asks. If he will pardon the thief on the cross he will save you.

I read a story that challenged me to share Christ with other like never before. I hope it challenges you, also. A pastor received a letter from a woman asking for prayer and help. Her husband had become involved in drugs and as a result the man was about to go to prison. Her children were about to be taken away by child services. After reading the letter the pastor went to her house and the couple received Christ as their Savior that night. The pastor asked the woman how she happened to pick his church. The woman replied, “I wrote all the churches in the community and you were the only one that responded’. Will you respond to the lost around you?

Romans 8:37 (NLT) No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us.
As a child of God we are made more than conquerors. In our walk with God there are unlimited opportunities. Things we have thought for years to be impossible are now being achieved. If the world pushes the limits how much more should the church and the individual child of God tap into God’s unlimited power and accomplish the impossible.
Philippians 4:13 (NKJV) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
A church with no limitations will in vision heaven full of people and then work to see it happen. A church with no limitations will pick an obstacle big enough to matter and then overcome it. A church with no limitations will not say I can’t but rather I can do all things trough Christ who strengthens me. The individual child of God with no limitations will make good life decisions, believe in himself and believe in God. Remember, in Christ there are unlimited possibilities.
